 Arrest of Cierra Coker, 20, of Lincoln, Illinois
Charges:
1st Degree Murder
Aggravated Battery of a Child
On February 6th, 2022, Lincoln Police Officers began an investigation
regarding an injured child at a residence in Lincoln, Illinois. The 20
month old victim was transported to St. Johns Hospital in Springfield,
Illinois for treatment of life threatening injuries. The victim, whose
name will not be released at this time, due to the sensitive nature of
the crime, investigation and out of respect for the family, ultimately
succumbed to those injuries.

The Lincoln Police Department conducted an investigation regarding
the incident which led to the arrest of 20 year old Cierra Coker, of
Lincoln, Illinois at approximately 6:15pm on February 23rd, 2022 in
Lincoln, Illinois.
The investigation regarding the victim’s death is still ongoing. No
other information can be released at this time.
