Obituary
Danny Ruppel, 71, of Lincoln, passed
away at his home on December 21, 2021.
Cremation Rites were accorded.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on
Friday, February 25, 2022, at Park Meadows Baptist
Church. Burial will be at New Union Cemetery.
Danny Ruppel was born March 6, 1950. He has been a
resident of Lawrence Place for many years and had
worked at Lincoln College. Danny enjoyed fishing,
following baseball and attending a St. Louis
Cardinals game each year with his house mates. Danny
also enjoyed watching wrestling, attending live
matches and being a longtime fan of the WWE. |
Danny was also fascinated with the
Lone Ranger, cowboy shows and acting as if he were a
cowboy or the new sheriff in town. The thing that
Danny was most proud of was when he was given the
title of Honorary Sheriff by the Lincoln Police
Department.
