- Lucille Whiteman, 90, of Lincoln passed away on
Tuesday, March 8th, 2022, at The Lincoln Village in Lincoln.

Obituary
Lucille Whiteman, 90, of Lincoln
passed away on Tuesday, March 8th, 2022, at The
Lincoln Village in Lincoln.
Lucille was born on October 21st, 1931 in Nelson
County, KY. The daughter of John and Carrie (Harris)
Underwood. She married Clifton Whiteman on May 9th,
1953 Waynesville. He preceded her in death on July
31st, 2005.
She is survived by her children, Marsha (Jeff) Grigg,
Rick (Sue) Whiteman, and Randy (Diane) Whiteman; her
brother, Joe Underwood; eleven grandchildren;
eighteen great-grandchildren; and eleven
great-great-grandchildren.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; her
husband; her son, Steven; her grandsons, Randy J.
Whiteman and Jeremy Bateman; five brothers; three
sisters; and two great-grandchildren.

Lucille loved gospel music, drinking
Folgers’s coffee, and rooting for her beloved St.
Louis Cardinals. But above all else, Lucille loved
her family; she will be greatly missed by all who
were fortunate enough to have known her.
Funeral Services for Lucille will be held at 11:00
a.m. on Monday, March 14th, 2022 at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Visitation will take place two hours prior to the
service (9:00-11:00 a.m.) also at the funeral home.
Burial will follow the services at New Union
Cemetery in Lincoln.
Memorial donations may be made in Lucille’s name to
Elara Caring Hospice.
