The Lincoln Junior High Trojan Wrestlers
traveled to Northern Illinois University in Dekalb on March 11th
and 12th for the IESA State Tournament.
Cameron Bell and Zach Poole were the Trojans two wrestlers who
qualified at the East Peoria Sectional the week before.
Cameron had an outstanding tournament and brought home a fifth
place medal at the 95lb weight class finishing his season with a
42-7 record.
Zach Poole also wrestled very well at the 275lb weight class and
made it to the top eight. He finished his season with a record
of 18-8.
This completes the Trojan wrestling season.
The Trojans had a very successful season winning the Dawson
Duals and finishing their season with a record of 21-12.
