Obituary
Marjorie E. Bays, 68, of Bloomington
passed away at her home on Sunday, March 6, 2022.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Burial will be at a later date at East Lawn Memorial
Gardens.
Marjorie Ellen Shuler was born on May 5,1953 in
Normal the daughter of Clarence and Purina Cassiday
Shuler. She was united in marriage to John Bays on
June 16, 1971. He survives.
Also surviving are her children: John (Melinda)
Bays, Jason (Josephine) Bays, Christina Bays. Seven
grandchildren: Shelby Bays, Joshua Beverly, Dana Bays,
Michael Beverly, William Bays, Amanda Claypool,
Kathleen Bays.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one
sister: Dora Kelly. |
Marjorie graduated from Normal
Community High School in 1971.
She last worked at State Farm in the food service
department.
Her hobbies included reading novels, coloring and
spending time with her grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to her family.
Quiram Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements.
