Obituary
Armington -- Evelyn M. Grill, 80, of
Armington, passed away at her home on Sunday, March
13, 2022.
No services are planned. Cremation Rites have been
accorded.
Evelyn Marie Gardner was born July 18, 1941, the
daughter of Ira and Florence F. Steingrandt Gardner.
Evelyn is survived by her daughters: Kelly (Andrew)
Sanders, Karen Grill, and Shelly (Jeff Brenizer)
Samples; eleven grandchildren; 9
great-grandchildren; one sister: Irene (Jimmie)
Prewitt; two brothers: Larry (La Rita) Gardner and
Clifford R. Gardner; and one sister-in-law: Rosie
Gardner.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one
brother: Edward Gardner.

Evelyn was a 1960 graduate of
Stanford High School. She attended nursing school in
Des Moines, Iowa. She worked at Methodist Hospital
for 34 years in Labor & Delivery, as a surgical
tech, and as a paramedic. She was a member of the
Open Bible Church of Hopedale.
Memorials may be made to the Armington Fire
Department.
