Audition dates set for first Lincoln Community Theater play of the season, You Can't Take it With You

Lincoln Community Theatre is pleased to announce auditions for their first show of their 2022 season.

For the production of our opening show of You Can’t Take it With You. Auditions will be held on Saturday, April 2nd and Sunday, April,10th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at St. John United Church of Christ in Lincoln. Performers should come prepared to do cold readings from the script.

This classic play by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart is a charming, sweet comedy set in the 1930s. Its positivity is a perfect antidote to the world we’re currently living in today. The show features amazing, fun roles that any actor would enjoy sinking their teeth into.

You Can’t Take it With You will be presented at Lincoln Community High School June 23-26 and will be directed by Phil Funkenbusch. He previously directed The Man Who Came to Dinner for LCT in 2018.
