Celebration of Life:

We will have a Church Service at
Immanuel Lutheran Church on Saturday April 9, 2022,
at 11:00 a.m. after the service we will go to the
American Legion to the Mary Pat room to visit and
tell stories about and celebrate Charlie.
All are welcome.
Donations may be made to the Odd
Fellows at P.O. Box 248 or to Immanuel Lutheran
Church.
Obituary
Charles “Charlie” Wieland, 69, of
Jacksonville, formerly of Lincoln, passed away at
6:32 p.m. Saturday December 11, 2021 at his home.
Charlie was born on July 20, 1952 in Springfield, to
Carl Albert and Mary Elizabeth (Riley) Wieland.
Surviving is his sister Janis Klockenga of Lincoln;
one niece Kristin Klockenga of St. Louis, MO; best
friend Bob Broughton of Fairhope, AL; and godson
Alec Broughton of Mount Pulaski. |
Charlie worked in construction for
many years. He was co-owner of Wie-Mer Construction
and also worked for Sangamo Construction. He enjoyed
photography, but his true love was Motorcycles. He
was a member of the American Motorcycle Association
and attended many meetings and was the 2016 Most
Dedicated Member of the American Motorcycle Racing
Association.
