Zachary Menzel, son of Elaine Worth, was named April Student
of the Month for the Advanced Metals program at the Lincolnland
Technical Education Center.

Zachary is a senior at Lincoln Community High School.
Mr. Jay Akers, instructor, selected Zachary for his work ethic &
being a responsible young man. He is polite toward instructors and
classmates, alike. He does the job that is asked of him and is a
dedicated worker. Zachary is conscious of cleanliness in the shop
and stays focused on his assignments and is excited to learn new
things. He has done very well in all the areas of the welding
program. He is seeking to increase his knowledge every day and comes
prepared to learn. Zachary has good attendance/grades, works well
with others, and is courteous. He is a great young man that will do
well.

Zachary has participated in LCHS Baseball and Golf his Freshman
year and Football his Sophomore year.
Zachary’s future goal is to go to Midwest Technical Institute
(MTI) school for welding.
Zachary received a $50 from the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln who sponsors this award
and honored him at a noon luncheon.
