Local Odd Fellows Lodge raises $1,000 for people of Ukraine

[May 10, 2022]     Lincoln Odd Fellow’s Lodge #204 would like to thank the Community of Lincoln their help in supporting Ukraine.

Lincoln Odd Fellows Lodge succeeded in collecting $1000. To send to Ukrain and those funds will be matched by the Grand Lodge.

As of May 9th, the Grand Lodge has received $5200.00 in relief that will be sent to Sovereign Grand Lodge after they match the amount. The Worldwide Organization in the United States - the Sovereign Grand Lodge has as of May 2nd, received $107,716.50. The SGL will match a portion of that money which will then be sent to the Grand Lodge of Ukraine.

The Grand Lodge of Ukraine has created funds for three-way assistance.

– purchase and shipping/financing of supplies indicated by the Ukrainian Brothers and Sister/ first aid, toilets, medicines, clothing etc.

- Transfer to the people

- Financing of housing and maintenance for refugees from Ukraine.

Thank you again for your support. The amounts may not seem like a lot when you look at a Worldwide Organization but most of the Lodges in Europe are sending directly to the Grand Lodge of Ukraine and every little bit helps. We do care about our brothers and Sisters around the world and will continue to help as we can.
