Lindsey Fink, a registered nurse in the Obstetrics department at Lincoln
Memorial Hospital, is the nonprofit hospital’s Colleague of the Month
for March.
Fink is known for her eager response to patients who have activated
their nurse call button, whether the patient is hers or not, said
hospital officials. That speaks to Fink’s drive to deliver excellent
patient care by taking every opportunity to practice her nursing skills.
“Lindsey was a brand-new nurse at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic,
and she always demonstrated a positive attitude and was wonderful to
work beside,” said Nicole Sochotsky, a registered nurse at Lincoln
Memorial Hospital, who nominated Fink for recognition. “Lindsey is eager
to learn and seeks opportunities to assist other nurses whenever she can
so she can experience hands-on learning of new skills.”

Fink, of Lincoln, has worked at Lincoln Memorial Hospital since 2018. She plans
to continue her education in nursing and obtain certification in obstetrics.
Outside of work, Fink enjoys visiting Kickapoo Park with her family, which
includes her husband, John, and her son, Bridger. She also enjoys caring for her
pets, which include two cats, two chickens and pheasants.
