Participants
met at the fairgrounds and followed local emergency vehicles,
including city police and firefighters.
Cars were decorated with signs, balloons, and various posters. Some
of the students drove themselves, or rode along with family and
classmates. Seniors rode in the back of pick-up trucks, in
convertibles or standing with their heads out the sunroofs or even
riding on top of their vehicles.

The parade route traveled down Woodlawn; then east on
Keokuk. Paradsters then made a quick trip around the Logan County
Courthouse Square before ending at the high school.
