Jamie Jones, LMH Market coordinator, recently completed the 2022
Illinois Certified Farmers Market Manager Program.
The certification program is presented by the Illinois Farmers Market
Association and sponsored by the Illinois Farm Bureau and the University
of Illinois Extension Office.
Jones, of Mount Pulaski, joined 25 other managers of farmers markets in
Illinois and Iowa in the nine-week course, which focused on leadership
skills and professional development essential to successful farmers
market management.

The LMH Market opened for its seventh season May 7 at the Logan County
Fairgrounds in Lincoln. Lincoln Memorial Hospital sponsors the LMH
Market, which promotes health and wellness through fresh food and
health-focused programs, organizers said.
