Jacksonville holds down Railsplitters 4-0

[May 18, 2022]    Lincoln’s offense was scarce on Monday afternoon, with just three scattered hits in the game and zero run production as Jacksonville got the 4-0 win over the Railsplitters.

 

Michael Lucas had a double for Lincoln and Andrew Graue and Daulton Miller had singles in the game. Twelve Railsplitters struck out to add to the woes. 

 

Aidan Nemeth took the loss for Lincoln. Nemeth threw six innings, allowing four runs on six hits. He struck out three and walked three.

 

Lincoln’s record falls to 14-12 on the season.

 

The Railsplitters will play a doubleheader beginning at 4:00 p.m today at Mattoon.

 

The Railsplitters will play Alton Marquette Catholic on Friday at 6:00 p.m. at Busch Stadium.
