				The Lady Railers plated two runs in the first inning. Cassie 
				Bridge had a sacrifice fly to score Cara Farnam with the first 
				run and Abbie Glenn added an RBI single to score Taryn 
				Stoltzenburg.  
				
				  
				
				Faith Eckhardt started the second inning by crushing a triple to 
				center. Farnam drove her home with a base hit to center to put 
				the Lady Railers on top 3-0. 
				
				  
				
				Lincoln scored six times in the bottom of the fourth inning. 
				Malena Kirgan, Taryn Stoltzenburg, Cassie Bridge, Ryen 
				Stoltzenburg, Farnam and Glenn all had singles in the inning. 
				Alex Eads also drove in a run for the Lady Railers, who led 9-0 
				at the end of the fourth inning. 
				
				  
				
				Farnam ended the game via the 10-run rule in the bottom of the 
				fifth inning. After Eckhardt singled to start the inning, Farnam 
				smacked a triple to center to send Eckhardt home with the 
				game-ending tenth run. 
				
				  
				
				Cara Farnam (18-7) earned the win for Lincoln. Farnam allowed 
				three hits in the five-inning game and struck out 10 batters. 
				She walked one. 
				
				  
				
				Farnam is a junior who has dedicated herself to the sport of 
				softball. Not only is her 18-7 record impressive, but she also 
				has a 1.40 ERA. Four of her losses were by one run. She has 195 
				strikeouts on the season so far. 
				
				  
				
				The Lady Railers offense this season has been phenomenal as well 
				in guiding the team to a 20-12 record.  
				
				  
				
				The last time a Lady Railers softball team had 20 wins was in 
				2005. 
				
				  
				
				On Monday, Farnam led the offensive attack with three hits, two 
				RBIs and two runs scored. 
				
				  
				
				Faith Eckhardt also had two hits and two runs scored.  
				
				  
				
				Abbie Glenn had two hits, three RBIs and a run scored. 
				
				  
				
				Cassie Bridge had one hit, three RBIs and a run scored. 
				
				  
				
				Taryn Stoltzenburg had one hit and two runs scored. 
				
				  
				
				Ryen Stoltzenburg had one hit and one walk. 
				
				  
				
				Malena Kirgan had one hit and one run scored. 
				
				  
				
				The Lady Railers will play at Rantoul on Thursday at 4 p.m.  
				
				  
				
				Regionals will begin next week for the Lady Railers.
