On Friday, April 29, Z-Culture Productions–in partnership with
LCTV–premiered two short films, “Delivery” and “The Plan”, at the
Johnson Center for Performing Arts on the campus of Lincoln College.

Both films were written and directed by Zaknafein
Luken, a 2022 graduate of Lincoln College, alongside a talented team
of Lincoln College student actors and production crew, and with
guidance from the LC Media Program led by John Malone and Bud
Broyles.
Delivery is a story about a pizza delivery that goes wrong, and ends
up asking some deep questions. Noah Henry and Spencer Davis star in
leading roles, with support from Tom McLaughlin, Britney McLaughlin,
and Kaylea Ingram.
The Plan follows four college students as they plan to rob a small
town bank. What could go wrong? The film’s co-stars are Noah Henry,
Kareem Burnett, Kenneth Miles, and Joshua Howard.

Noah Henry, one of the lead actors, says, "I have been a huge
movie fan for many years but never thought I'd actually get to be a big part of
making one; and even two! We put in a lot of hard work, but the reception has
been far greater than I could've imagined and that makes it all more than worth
it."
Writer/Director Zak Luken has already seen previous success, producing other
short films like Hate Is Not Welcome Here, which recently won a Mid-American
EMMY for Best Short Form - Non-Fiction Programming, and was nominated for 6
other international awards. And, just this week, word has come that The Plan has
officially been selected to be a part of IMDB's Indie Short Fest in Los Angeles,
CA.
"Seeing a year’s worth of hard work paying off is so rewarding. I wouldn't be
here though without my cast & crew. They are the main reason why this all
worked, so it would be criminal if I didn't thank them!" says Zak.
