Obituary
James W. Eimer, 73, of Bloomington,
formerly of Lincoln, passed away on Tuesday, May 10,
2022, at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in
Bloomington.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Friday,
May 20, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Cemetery in
Lincoln. Rev. Joseph Dondanville will officiate.
Military Rites to be accorded. Cremation Rites have
been accorded.
James William Eimer was born October 4, 1948, in
Lincoln, the son of William C. and Mary M. Herberger
Eimer, Jr.
He is survived by one brother, Michael (Catrina)
Eimer, and seven children.
James was preceded in death by his parents. |
A 1966 graduate of Lincoln Community High School,
James then served in the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam.
He enjoyed collecting antiques and sports memorabilia, along
with rooting for the Dallas Cowboys and St. Louis Cardinals.
Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley Funeral Home of
Lincoln.
