Cassidy Clark earns 3rd place at State 

[May 24, 2022]    Mount Pulaski’s Cassidy Clark earned third place on Saturday in the discus at the IHSA Class 1A Girls State Track and Field Championships at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston. 

Clark’s discus throw of 40.98m from the Prelims was her best throw of the tournament. She finished in third place behind Olivia Campbell of Pittsfield, who threw 42.47m and Charlotte Frere of Sherrard who threw 41.40m.

Clark also finished in 12th place in the Shot Put. Clark tossed the shot put a distance of 10.76m.
