			LINCOLN - 
			Michael U. Kissinger, 65, of Lincoln, passed away on Thursday, March 
			24, 2022, at Copper Creek Cottages in Lincoln. He was diagnosed with 
			Early Onset Dementia in 2014. |

							Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family 
							Catholic Church. Service:
							Thursday at 11 a.m. at the church

							Obituary 
							Michael U. Kissinger, 65, of Lincoln, 
							passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Copper 
							Creek Cottages in Lincoln. He was diagnosed with 
							Early Onset Dementia in 2014.
 A Memorial Mass for Mr. Kissinger will be held on 
							Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family 
							Catholic Church.
 
 A Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 
							10:45 a.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the church.
 
 Cremation Rites have been accorded. A private burial 
							service will be held for the family
 
 Burial will be in the New Union Cemetery.
 
 Michael was born on October 28, 1956, in Lincoln, 
							the son of Harold and Ann Devanny Kissinger.
 
 He is survived by his three sisters: Beth (Jim) 
							Fleshman, Ceci Hopper, and Chris Frye; two nephews; 
							two nieces; five great-nieces; and one great-nephew.
 
 Michael was preceded in death by his father and 
							mother, and several aunts and uncles.

							Michael graduated from Lincoln 
							Community High School. He attended Illinois State 
							University, Arizona State University, and graduated 
							from University of Illinois at Springfield with a 
							degree in Business Management. He completed his CPA 
							certificate and was an accountant in Springfield for 
							many years. He was employed by Federated Funeral 
							Directors of America as an Executive Accountant for 
							the last 15 years of his career.
 Michael was an accomplished student in the martial 
							art discipline, Kali. He was an avid runner and avid 
							reader. He loved to travel to Florida an scuba dive.
 
 Memorials may be made in Michael's name to The 
							Christian Village Congregate Living in Lincoln, 
							Copper Creek Memory Care, or Kindred Hospice of 
							Bloomington.
 
 Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley 
							Funeral Home of Lincoln.
