- Kerry Payne, 71, of Lincoln passed away on
Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

Obituary
Kerry Payne, 71, of Lincoln passed
away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at St. John’s
Hospital in Springfield.
Kerry was born on December 28, 1950 in Lincoln, the
son of Floyd and Norma (Teaney) Payne.
He is survived by his siblings: Roger (Randy) Payne
of Lincoln; Reggie (Tracy) Payne of Hartsburg; and
Robyn Redfairn of Lincoln. Additionally, he will be
missed by his friends at Rochelle, Serenity, and
Lincoln House.
Kerry was preceded in death by his parents.
Kerry loved to participate and watch
the Special Olympics. He also enjoyed bowling, as
well as feeding and watching squirrels. |
Services for Kerry will be held at
11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Prairieland
Christian Church in Hartsburg. Visitation will take
place one hour prior to the service (10:00
a.m.-11:00a.m.).
Memorials can be made in Kerry’s name to Alpha Omega
Consulting Inc.
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln is
assisting the family with arrangements.
