- Evelyn J. Armstrong, 90, of Lincoln, passed away on
Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at The Loft in Normal.

10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Hartsburg
Union Cemetery in Hartsburg.

Obituary
Evelyn J. Armstrong, 90, of Lincoln,
passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at The
Loft in Normal.
Evelyn was born March 21, 1932, in Hartsburg, the
daughter of Albert and Pauline (Marshall) Lessen.
She married Henry A. Armstrong on March 31, 1962, at
Lincoln Christian Church. He preceded her in death
on October 25, 1989.
Evelyn is survived by her sister, Carol Olson; and
numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband,
Henry; and her siblings, Doris Greig, Mary Hindahl,
and Roy and Paul Lessen.

A graveside service for Evelyn will
be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at
Hartsburg Union Cemetery in Hartsburg. Memorials can
be made in Evelyn’s name to The Humane Society of
Logan County.
Cremation rites have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
