Ryan G. Gober, 49, of Lincoln, passed away suddenly from pneumonia
on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Springfield Memorial Hospital. |
Visitation:
Friday, October 28, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.at
Holy Family Catholic Church in Lincoln.
Service:
11 a.m. Friday at the church

Obituary
Ryan G. Gober, 49, of Lincoln, passed
away suddenly from pneumonia on Tuesday, October 25,
2022, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, October 28,
2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church
in Lincoln. Rev. Joseph Dondanville will officiate.
Cremation Rites have been accorded.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00
on Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church prior to
the service.
Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in
Lincoln.
Ryan Gerard Gober was born November 28, 1972, in
Lincoln, the son of William Ronald and Carolyn E.
Barbee Gober.
Survivors include his mother, Carolyn; four
brothers: Todd (Breanna) Gober, Chris Gober, Eric
(Julie) Gober, and Chad Gober; and seven nieces and
nephews: Brittany Gober, Breanne Gober, Brooklynne
(Tate) Ketelhut, Alexandra “Lexie” Gober, Elizabeth
“Liza” Gober, Cole Gober, and Louis Gober. |
He was preceded in death by his father, Ron.
Ryan was a 1990 graduate of Lincoln Community High School and later
graduated from Delgado Culinary School in New Orleans. He was
employed as a District Locator Supervisor for USIC. He loved to cook
and entertain friends and family. Ryan also enjoyed gardening.
Memorials may be made to Carroll Catholic School in Lincoln.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley Funeral Home of
Lincoln.
