Obituary
Ervin W. Stone, 78, of Middletown
passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at his
home.
A Celebration of his life will be held at a later
date.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Ervin Walter Stone was born on July 21, 1944 in
Springfield the son of Everett P. and Edna M.
(Albert) Stone.
He is survived by his children: Chad (Teresa) Stone,
Chris (Sarah) Stone, Laura Ruble. One brother: Jim
Bumgardner, One sister: Evelyn Koke, Six
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter: Diane
Wells.

Ervin graduated from the Middletown
High School in 1962. He retired as the owner of
Stoney’s Transmission Repair Shop in Oakford.
He enjoyed working and making leather items.
Memorials may made to the Humane Society of Logan
County.
Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
