A celebration of life for Jim will be held at The
Stag-R-Inn in Emden from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday,
November 20, 2022.

Obituary
James “Jim” Adye, 68, of Emden,
passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022, at
Springfield Medical Center.
Jim was born December 28, 1953, in Indiana, the son
of Gerry Adye and Diane Cocklin. He married Janice
Wheeler in 1980.
Jim is survived by his wife, Janice; his son, Jerad
(Carly Hiebert) Wheeler of Monte Rio, CA; his
siblings, Tammy (Bill) Sykes, Bandy (Kitty) Adye,
Penny Griffin, and Wendy Adye; and many nieces,
nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and one
brother, Kurk Adye. |
Jim worked for Sheley Trucking for
many years as a driver. He was a
“jack-of-all-trades”, who enjoyed helping his
family, friends, and community.
