[November 19, 2022]   Logan County’s first escape room, Entertainment Escapes, opened its doors on November 18th to provide a fun activity for the community. The Entertainment Escapes will be a temporary business operated by the Land of Lincoln CEO Class of 2022.

Every year, the Land of Lincoln CEO class creates a micro business as part of a hands-on learning experience. CEO stands for Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities, and it is a class for juniors and seniors in and around Logan County. This year, the class chose to launch an escape room in downtown Lincoln. Students are responsible for all aspects of the business including planning, securing startup capital, accounting, marketing, and running the business. Entertainment Escapes CFO Emma Petro said, “We really appreciate the support and help from our mentors and other members of the business community. We especially appreciate Almighty Investments for their huge contribution to making the escape room possible and a wonderful experience for our community.”

The Land of Lincoln CEO class has been working around the clock to prepare the best experience possible for the community. “The CEO team has received overwhelmingly positive feedback about this venture. They have learned so much through this process and they are excited to offer a fun new experience to Lincoln and Logan County” says CEO Facilitator, Lisa Kuhlman.
