Lady Railers top Williamsville by 50-point margin

[November 21, 2022]  The Lady Railers annihilated Williamsville in the Pana Thanksgiving Tournament on Saturday morning, winning by a final score of 63-13. 

 

Lincoln blanked the Lady Bullets 20-0 in the first quarter. Tori Geriets scored six points in the first quarter and Taryn Stoltzenburg and Kloe Froebe each tossed in five points.

Becca Heitzig turned on the afterburners in the second quarter and hit double-digits with 14 points scored in the quarter. Freshman Mia Clark came in off the bench to hit two 3s and another field goal to account for eight points. Freshman Ceana Adams scored her first point in a varsity uniform on a free throw in the second quarter. At the half Lincoln was up 49-2.

Freshman Mesa McCloud scored her first varsity points for Lincoln in the third quarter and it was a three. Makinley Knapp, a sophomore, also scored her first varsity points of the season here as Lincoln led 60-5 heading into the final quarter.

Freshman Lily Holmes scored her first varsity point on a free throw in the fourth quarter and with Clark tossing in another field goal, the Lady Railers scoring was complete. With the Lady Bullets hitting a high of eight points scored in the fourth quarter, Lincoln completed their annihilation with a 63-13 win.

Becca Heitzig led the Lady Railers with 16 points.

Freshman Mia Clark tossed in 12 points in her role off the bench.

The Lady Railers improved to 3-0 on the season.
