Lady Railers crush Olney 73-25 as Pana Thanksgiving Tournament continues

[November 26, 2022]    The Lady Railers spent their Friday afternoon in Pana and they finished their day’s work in quick fashion over Olney. The score showed Lincoln won by nearly a 50-point margin, 73-25 the final.

 

Kloe Froebe and Becca Heitzig combined for all 18 first quarter points. Froebe poured in 12 points and Heitzig added 6 as the Lady Railers commanded an 18-5 lead after one quarter of play.

The second quarter saw five Lady Railers light up the scoreboard. Heitzig poured in eight points while Froebe tossed in seven points. Jenna Bowman and Tori Geriets each tossed in five points. Mia Clark accounted for two points and just like that the Lady Railers were running away with a 45-11 lead at the half.

Froebe led a balanced scoring attack with six points in the third quarter. At the end of three, Lincoln was on top 63-22.

Ceana Adams and Makinley Knapp each poured in four fourth quarter points, with Adams hitting a three. With Piper Whiteman adding a bucket here, the Lady Railers had no problem slamming the door on Olney.

Lincoln wins another game by a wide margin in the tournament, this time the final was 73-25.

Kloe Froebe led the Lady Railers with 25 points.

Becca Heitzig hit double-digits with 16 points.

The Lady Railers have earned their way into today’s tournament championship game with a 5-0 record.

Lincoln will play tonight at 7:30 p.m. versus Pana in the Pana Thanksgiving Tournament.
