A celebration of life will be held Wednesday,
November 30, 2022, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the
Lincoln Eagles Club, 1621 N. Kickapoo Street in
Lincoln

Obituary
Steven Ray Patton, of Vienna,
formerly of Lincoln, passed November 11, 2022.
Steven was born November 22, 1955, in Jacksonville.
The son of Shirley (Roach) Patton and Leroy Steven
Patton. Shirley later married John R Cox who Steven
loved dearly.
Steven married Karen Fox in 1974. A daughter, Wendy
Patton, was born of this union.
Steven married Penny (Naylor) Patton on January 28,
1989, and this marriage endured til his death.
Another daughter, Whitney Patton, was born of this
union.
Steven and Penny were blessed with the birth of
their grandson, Bryson Ray Patton, who they welcomed
into their home and raised as their own.
Steven is survived by an additional five
grandchildren, Graycee, Hailey, Rylee, Madyson and
Karyson and 12 great grandchildren whom he loved
dearly.
Steven is additionally survived by three brothers,
Ernie, Mark and Wayne, four half-brothers, Mike,
Jesse, Ricky and Lenny and a half-sister Becky.
Steven was preceded in death by his mother, father,
stepfather and one brother.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
A celebration of Steven’s life will be held
Wednesday, November 30, 2022, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
at the Lincoln Eagles Club, 1621 N. Kickapoo Street
in Lincoln.
Steven’s ashes will be spread in April 2023 during
the annual mushroom hunt which Steven and Penny have
hosted for nearly two decades.
