[October 03, 2022]  LINCOLN - Norma Knollenberg, 81, of Lincoln, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Copper Creek Cottages.

Visitation:  4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Service:  10 a.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lincoln

Obituary

Norma Knollenberg, 81, of Lincoln, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Copper Creek Cottages.

Norma was born July 31, 1941, in Bronx, NY, the daughter of Joseph and Antionette (Dippolito) DiRocco. She married Kenneth Knollenberg on December 17, 1960.

Norma is survived by her husband, Kenneth; her children, Jeffrey (Brenda) Knollenberg, Laura (Kurt) Fischer, and Scott (Michelle) Knollenberg; three grandchildren, Henry, Audrey, and Chloe Knollenberg; one step-grandson, Jeffrey Fischer; one great-grandchild, Felix Pendley; and one brother, Joseph DiRocco.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and one infant brother and sister.

Norma was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rachel’s Circle, Women of Immanuel, and The Oasis Book Club. She was also a literary tutor and past president of New Holland Women’s Club.

A memorial service for Norma will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lincoln. A visitation will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Memorials may be made in Norma’s name to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Lincoln Public Library.
