Philippines' Marcos open to dealing with Russia for fuel needs

[October 05, 2022]   MANILA (Reuters) - Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr on Wednesday said his country may need to turn to Russia to fulfil its fuel needs amid rising global energy prices.

Speaking to the Manila Overseas Press Club, Marcos, who is also the country's agriculture minister, said his country may also deal with Russia for supply of fertiliser.
