Atlanta celebrates 13 Nights of Halloween
 

[October 07, 2022]    The city of Atlanta announces its second annual 13 Nights of Halloween, decorated downtown.

The town will be decorated for Halloween on Arch Street, the former Historic U.S. Route 66, 1926 alignment. The stretch of road goes right through the heart of downtown.

Visitors are encouraged to visit around dusk and at night to take advantage of the “eerie” decorations and lights.

The main Halloween attraction is Route 66 Park on the corner of Race and Vine Street. At the end of the decorated pathway, visitors will see the limited-time Halloween Route 66 four-foot shield painted by Mount Pulaski artist Scott Lindley of CSL Studios.

The City of Atlanta will have maps of decorated houses for visitors wishing to experience more Halloween sites while in town. The map can be accessed online via the Atlanta social media pages or picked up in the Visitors Center on Arch Street.
