Lady Railers go 4-1 in the Bloomington Central Catholic Saints Fall Classic this weekend

The Lincoln volleyball team had a respectable showing in the Bloomington Central Catholic Saints Fall Classic and finished in 5th place with a 4-1 record.

On Friday night, Lincoln lost in three sets to Williamsville, 25-10, 21-25 and 9-15.

The Lady Railers defeated Maroa-Forsyth 25-20 and 25-18 in the second game of the evening.

On Saturday, Lincoln handed Bloomington High School a two-set loss, 25-13 and 25-17.

The Lady Railers followed that victory with a two-set win over the hosts, Bloomington Central Catholic. Lincoln downed the Saints 25-12 and 25-20.

Lincoln ended the tournament on a winning note, defeating IVC 27-25 and 25-16.

Lincoln’s Kloe Froebe was named to the all-tournament team. Froebe led the team with 50 kills and she also had 30 digs for Lincoln.

The Lady Railers improved their record to 24-6 on the season.

Metamora won the 2022 Bloomington Central Catholic Saints Fall Classic.

Rebecca Burge 4 kills and 4 blocks

Taryn Stoltzenburg 37 digs and 3 assists
