Nathan Pennisi, Illinois American Water Co.
superintendent, will relate the story of Lincoln's first water
system developed in the 1800's and tell about advancements made
throughout the years during the 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, public
meeting of the Logan County Genealogical & Historical Society at its
Center located across from the Lincoln Depot.

Pennisi will also give updates on the construction of the new
Lincoln water plant and the Illinois American Water acquisition of
the Mt. Pulaski water system.
The program will be followed by a brief business meeting and
refreshments.
