The Lady Toppers defeated Edinburg 25-8 and
25-12 Tuesday night in the first round of the Class 1A Regionals
hosted by Mount Pulaski.
Alexis Wade and Grace Davis each led the team with 8 kills
apiece.
Wade also led the team with 5 digs and Davis led the team with 4
aces.
Hailee Daigh led Mount Pulaski with 20 assists and 1 block.
Alyson Murphy also had 1 block for Mount Pulaski.
The Lady Toppers improve to 22-11 on the season.
Mount Pulaski will host Pawnee tonight at 7 p.m. in the regional
semifinal.
