Jackson Fricke named November
Senior of the Month at Mount Pulaski High School

Jackson Fricke, son of Nathan and Heather Fricke of
Mount Pulaski, has been named November-Senior-of-the-month at Mount
Pulaski High School. He was selected for this honor based on the
criteria of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
Jackson has participated in numerous sports and activities during
his time at MPHS. He is a three-sport athlete all four years,
playing on the Baseball, Basketball, and Golf teams. He has been a
member of FFA, serving as the Sentinel this year; Student Council,
and a Class Officer for four years. He has been a member of National
Honor Society for two years and Purple Reign for one year. Outside
of school Jackson has played on the Rifles travel baseball team for
four years and has participated in the Mount Pulaski Christian
Church Youth Group for four years.
Jackson has been on Honor Roll consistently. He made the 1st team
All-Conference in Baseball in 2022, 1st team Decatur Herald and
Review Baseball 2022, 2020 Algebra Student of the Year, 2021
Geometry Student of the Year, FFA awards in Ag Sales, Meat Judging,
SAE, and Quiz Bowl. He is also published in the American Library of
Poetry.
Jackson has helped with Christmas on Vinegar Hill setup and take
down, the canned food drives for FFA and Trick or Treating for
canned goods, Courthouse Landscaping, Parking Lot painting, and the
Recycling Program at MPHS.

Jackson plans to attend Illinois
College to major in Ag Business while continuing his baseball
career at the collegiate level.
The Senior-of-the-Month program is sponsored by Conaway Handyman
Service and Downing, Przykopanski, Clements, & May Insurance
Agency, Inc. They are also in the running for the $500
Senior-of-the-Year award sponsored by INB.
