Hartsburg-Emden defeats Illini Bluffs for regional championship
 

[October 28, 2022]    The Stags defeated Illini Bluffs 25-13 and 25-11 Thursday night in the Class 1A Regional Championship at Glasford.

Addie Beekman led the Stags with 14 kills and 11 digs.

Celia Cross put together a solid performance with 21 assists, 5 blocks and 3 aces.

Faith Sanders contributed 3 blocks and Alayna Briggs had 7 digs in the Stags win.

The Stags take a 25-12 record into Monday night’s sectionals at Brimfield.

Hartsburg-Emden will play Princeville at 6:00 p.m. Monday night.

Augusta Southeastern will play Kewanee Wethersfield in the 7:00 p.m. game.
