Lincoln defeats Jacksonville in regional championship
Lady Railers earn their 30th win of the season

[October 28, 2022]    The Lady Railers won the Class 3A Regional Championship on Thursday night by quickly ending Jacksonville’s season in two sets, 25-9 and 25-14.

Lincoln (30-6) will return home to host the Class 3A Sectionals on Monday night.

In the regional championship versus Jacksonville, Peyton Sasse led the Lady Railers with 11 kills. Kloe Froebe added 9 kills and 17 digs.

Lily Holmes ended the night with 5 kills while Alyssa Company tallied 4 kills.

Addy Qualters led the team with 24 assists.

Lincoln will host Normal University High in the first game of sectionals Monday night at 6 p.m. at Roy S. Anderson gymnasium. Normal Community West will play Rochester in the 7:00 p.m. game.
