Obituary
Margaret E. Jones, 93, of Lincoln,
passed away at The Lincoln Villages on Sunday,
October 23, 2022.
Private Graveside Services will be held on Saturday,
October 29, 2022, at the Horse Creek Cemetery in
Pawnee, with Rev. Andrew Jones officiating.
Cremation Rites have been accorded.
Margaret Elizabeth Schroll was born on November 25,
1928, in Auburn, Illinois, the daughter of Frank and
Lena Waggoner Schroll. She was united in marriage to
Samuel Jones on April 8, 1950, in Pawnee. He
preceded her in death on July 22, 1994.
Surviving are her children: Carl (Deb) Jones of
Plainfield, Carol Cook of Taylorville, Cathy (Larry)
Zumwalt of Emden, and Chris Jones of Clinton; four
grandchildren: Tom (Fawn) Bozarth, Melinda (Curtis)
Reiners, Angie (Danny) Zumwalt- Miller and Andrew
(Jenny) Jones; six great-grandchildren: Carter
Reiners, Nora Reiners, Jayden Miller, Dalton Bozarth,
Dillion Bozarth and Ava Bozarth. |
She was preceded in death by her
parents, husband, and eleven brothers and sisters.
She was of the Methodist Faith.
Memorials may be made to Lincoln Terrace in Lincoln.
Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
