Obituary
Lila L. Leesman passed away August
16, 2022, at 9:35 AM in the emergency room at
Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry
& Bennett Funeral Home. Burial will be September 2,
2022, at 11 AM in Hartsburg Union Cemetery.
Lila was born May 1, 1927, the daughter of Calvin G.
and Della C. (Lord) Taylor in South Pekin, Illinois.
She married Wilbur W. Leesman of Hartsburg on
December 13, 1951. He preceded her in death on
December 23, 2013.
Mrs. Leesman graduated from Pekin High School in
1945. She was a legal secretary for the firm of
Woods and Bates for over 35 years, retiring in 1990.

Surviving Mrs. Leesman is her daughter Cheryl (Daniel) Lemme, her
brother Calvin E. Taylor, one sister-in-law Lois Leesman, and her grand dog
Gibbs.
Preceding her in death were her husband, parents, infant son Duane, and
sister-in-law Dorothy Taylor.
Memorial donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or to the Humane
Society of Logan County and will be accepted at the funeral home.
