Local Salvation army seeking volunteer kettle assistant
Opening still available in two classes at Sal Army

[September 16, 2022]    The Salvation Army is looking for a Volunteer Kettle Assistant to help with this Bell Ringing Season. From October through December the Kettle Assistant will help contact volunteers & groups, maintain a list of Bell Ringers, enter data in Register to Ring site, collect Kettles, & check in with volunteers at each Kettle site.

There is an Emergency Disaster Services Summit this October 12-16th. Courses are offered at half days, full days, and two days depending on the course. Check out our facebook page or call 309-256-1615 for more details.

The Music Academy is currently postponed until October. We are still looking for students to fill the class. 1st – 3rd graders looking to learn Ukulele, and or 3rd – 6th graders for Trumpet or Ukulele. Call 217-732-7890.
