Beason kicked off it 150th Anniversary with a parade
on Saturday morning. The parade ran directly through the middle of
town on County Highway 6. The weather was bright and sunny, and
dozens of people gathered along the road to watch the parade go by.

There were also several tents set up with food, which would be
popular as activities around town were scheduled all day long, and
old tractors lined up for display.

As for the parade itself, it featured fire trucks and ambulances
from the surrounding area. There were several vehicles with some of
the older couples from Beason riding. There were also
representatives of the businesses that operate in Beason and the
			surrounding communities.

Overall, there was plenty to see as the parade made
			its way through town.
