Sox in the opener of a three-game series on Tuesday night.
Steven Kwan had four hits, two RBIs and two runs for the Guardians
(81-67), who increased their American League Central lead over the
second-place White Sox (76-72) to five games.
Cleveland starter Aaron Civale allowed two runs and four hits in
five-plus innings. He struck out two and walked one.
Guardians closer Emmanuel Clase (3-4) blew just his fourth save in

innings, striking out three and walking one.
AJ Pollock had three hits, including a two-run homer in the 11th,
and three RBIs for Chicago.
In the top of the 11th, Straw lined a double down the left field
line off Jake Diekman (5-4) to score two runs and give the Guardians
a 7-5 lead.
Kwan followed with his fourth single of the game to make it 8-5.
A sacrifice fly and throwing error stretched the lead to 10-5, which
turned out to be key runs after Pollock went deep to make it 10-7.
