Gerald S. Bell, 69, of Middletown
passed away on Thursday , September 8, 2022 at the
Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
A Celebration of Gerald’s Life will be held at a
later date. Cremation rites have been accorded.
Gerald Scott Bell was born on March 2, 1953 in
Sullivan, Missouri the son of Scott Braden and Hazel
M. Schwidde Bell. He was united in marriage to
Katherine “Kitty” Berg on September 18, 1989. She
survives.
Also surviving are his children: Daniel (Toni) Bell,
Matthew Bell, Christopher (Kathy) Bell. His
siblings: Wesley (Debbie) Bell, Margaret (Wayne)
Leesman, Jim (Marilyn) Bell, Rick (Annette) Bell.
Six grandchildren: Hannah Bell, Gabrielle Bell,
Madison Bell, Brayden Bell, Carson Bell, David Bell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one
brother: Chester Bell. |
Gerald served in the United States
Army.
He retired from SC 2 as a Material Handler at
Caterpillar Inc. in Delavan.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing and being an
diehard Cardinal baseball fan.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s
Research Hospital.
Quiram Peasley Funeral Home is assisting the family
