- Clyde Gunn, 78, of Lincoln, formerly of
Springfield, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022, at St.
Clara’s Rehab and Senior Center.

Obituary
Clyde Gunn, 78, of Lincoln, formerly
of Springfield, passed away on Monday, September 19,
2022, at St. Clara’s Rehab and Senior Center.
Clyde was born on January 9, 1944, in Hillsboro, the
son of Earl and Lura (Smith) Gunn.
Clyde is survived by his daughter, Ginger (Jason)
Payne; companion, Debbie Dutton; two grandchildren,
Mackenzy and Chance Payne; and siblings, Bruce
(Cassie) Gunn and Twila Everett.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two
brothers, Maynard and Merlin Gunn; and
granddaughter, Allyson.

Clyde enjoyed Nascar, the St. Louis
Cardinals, and the Dallas Cowboys. He served in the
United States Army from 1965 until 1968.
A private family service will be held at a later
date.
Cremation rites have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
