- David Zgaga, 79, of Lincoln, passed away Tuesday,
September 20, 2022, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

Service:
A graveside service for David will be held at 10
a.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Camp Butler
National Cemetery in Springfield.

Obituary
David Zgaga, 79, of Lincoln, passed
away Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at HSHS St. John’s
Hospital in Springfield.
David was born on March 4, 1943, in Springfield, the
son of Paul and Frances (Grobelnik) Zgaga. He
married Patsy Kenning on October 7, 1994, in
Lincoln.
David is survived by his wife, Patsy; two daughters,
Jennifer Westendorf and Kirsten Lolling; his son,
Kurt Kenning; five grandchildren; and seven
great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one
daughter, Kerri Zgaga; and sister, JoAnn Burger. |
David proudly served in the United
States Air Force from 1963-1966. He enjoyed spending
time with his family and loved
ones.
A graveside
service for David will be held at 10 a.m. on
Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Camp Butler National
Cemetery in Springfield.
Cremation rites have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
