			William H. "Bill" Conley, 83, of Lincoln, passed away on Wednesday, 
			March 22, 2023, at Lincoln Memorial Hospital surrounded by his 
			loving family. |

							A Celebration of Life Service will start at 4:00 
							p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at the Eminence 
							Christian Church in rural Atlanta Masonic Rites will be performed at 
							4:30 p.m. at the church

							Obituary 
							William H. "Bill" Conley, 83, of 
							Lincoln, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, 
							at Lincoln Memorial Hospital surrounded by his 
							loving family.
 A Celebration of Life Service will start at 4:00 
							p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at the Eminence 
							Christian Church in rural Atlanta. Masonic Rites 
							will be performed at 4:30 p.m. at the church. Mr. 
							Henry Johnson and Mr. Michael Mallick will speak at 
							5:00 p.m. Services will conclude at 6:00 p.m.
 
 Burial will be at Zion Cemetery in Lincoln at a 
							later date.
 
 William Harvey Conley was born on October 25, 1939, 
							in Lincoln, the son of Otto P. and Gillie Young 
							Conley. He was united in marriage to Marilyn Scales 
							on September 17, 1960. She survives.

							Also surviving are his sons: Rod 
							(Shelly) Conley and Douglas Conley; four 
							grandchildren: Brian (Corky) Stoltzenburg, Amber 
							(Ryan) Eads, Cory Stoltzenburg, and Devan (Taylor) 
							Duncheon; seven great-grandchildren: Emma and Kate 
							Stolzenburg; Bryson, Tearaney, and Kylee Eads; Seth 
							Evans; and Olivia Stoltzenburg.
 Bill graduated from the Lincoln Community High 
							School in 1957. He retired from the State of 
							Illinois Department of Corrections after 20 years of 
							service. He also worked at Lloyd Haveron's Barber 
							shop for many years.
 
 He was a member of Eminence Christian Church and the 
							Atlanta Masonic Lodge #165 A.F. & A.M.
 
 Memorials may be made to the Eminence Christian 
							Church.
 
 Peasley Funeral Home is assisting the family with 
							arrangements.
