He fought a long and fierce battle with Alzheimer's.
After 8 long years it was time for him to go to his
eternal home to be made whole again. He was born in
Emden, Illinois to Merle and Pearl (Short) Rademaker

younger brother, Virgil Rademaker.

his wife Jackie (Magers) Rademaker, married June 30,
1984, (Odessa, Florida) and his 5 children; Robert
(Rob) Rademaker,Tremont, Illinois, Nancy (Rademaker)
Barns and son-in law (Chad), Lantana, Texas, Jeff
Rademaker and daughter in law (Donna), Pekin,
Illinois, Paula Roher and son in law Mitch, Tampa,
Florida and Michael Pickett and daughter in law
(Tracie), Southern Pines, NC., brother, Ivan
Rademaker (Roberta), Emden, Illinois, and brother in
law Dave Magers (Karen).
Gordon cherished his 13 Grandchildren and five great
Grandchildren.
We all are comforted knowing that he is sitting up
in heaven smoking a big old smelly cigar and
watching over and protecting all of those who loved
him so dearly.
Cremation will be at Blount & Curry Funeral Home,
Tampa, Florida. A celebration of life with his loved
ones will be held at a later date.
Any donations to commemorate his life we would
respectfully request be sent to the American

heartfelt thank you to those who helped us care for
Gordon at Accent Hospice. A special thank you to his
