City of Lincoln offers free electronics recycling for Logan County residents April 17th through 21st

The city of Lincoln will host an electronics recycling event the week of April 17th through April 21st.

Residents of Logan County are invited to visit the Municipal Services building at 313 Limit Street in Lincoln during specific days and hours and drop off their electronics for recycling.

On Monday and Tuesday April 17th and 18th along with Thursday and Friday, April 20th and 21st, the drop off hours will be between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.

On Wednesday, April 19th hours will be extended and will run from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. to accommodate those who cannot make it in before 2 p.m.

Directions for drop off are as follows:

Open to residents of the county, no commercial businesses may drop off electronics for free recycling.

Identification for proof of residence must be provided and will be checked before you may drop off your electronics.

Enter the Municipal Services Building from Limit Street only (you will also exit onto Limit when finished).

Enter into Door Four on the East side of the Lincoln Municipal Services Building (signs will be posted).

An attendant will be on site to check ID’s and addresses.

You must unload your electronics yourself.

The following items will be accepted:

• Computers & Small-Scale Servers

• Computer Monitors

• Televisions (Limit of 4 TVs per day)

• Printers, Fax machines & Scanners

• DVD Players, DVD Recorders & VCRs

• Video Game Consoles

• Digital Convertor Boxes

• Cable Receivers & Satellite Receivers

• Electronic Keyboards

• Electronic Mice

• Portable Digital Music Players

NO BROKEN ITEMS OF ANY KIND WILL BE ACCEPTED (BROKEN MEANS IN PIECES, NOT INOPERABLE)

The week-long recycling event is being offered free of charge to all Logan County residents.
