Hayden Thompson LTEC April Student of the Month

 

[April 19, 2023]    Hayden Thompson, son of Buddy Thompson, is the April Student of the Month for the Advanced Welding program at the Lincolnland Technical Education Center.

Hayden is a senior at Lincoln Community High School.

Mr. Jay Akers, instructor, selected Hayden for his work ethic & being a responsible young man. Mr. Akers says that Hayden has a work ethic that stands out among his peers. “He is polite and respectful toward adults and students. He does the job that is asked of him and is a dedicated worker. He has done very well in all the areas of the welding program. He is out to better his knowledge every day and comes prepared to learn. Hayden has good attendance/grades, works well with others, and is courteous. He has a plan for his life, going forward. Hayden will do well in this field, I wish him the best.”

Hayden enjoys bowling in a league. He has a 193 average.

Hayden’s future plan is to go right into the work force. He has a welding job lined up after graduation.

Hayden received a $50 from the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln who sponsors this award and honored him at a noon luncheon.
