Obituary
Jerry McCain, 80, of Lincoln, passed
away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Bridgecare
Suites in Springfield.
Jerry was born January 11, 1943, in Lincoln, the son
of Hilmar and Katherine (Bacon) McCain. He married
Sharon Miller on October 16, 1982, in Lincoln. She
preceded him in death on March 19, 2022.
Jerry is survived by his daughter, Angela (Jimmy)
Jones; grandchildren, Jared (Sarah) Hutchcraft,
Kalyn (Patrick) Kolls, Megan Bishop, Gracie Jones,
and J.J. Jones; three great-grandchildren; and
nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his
parents; daughter, Annette Hutchcraft; brothers,
Donnie, John, and Danny McCain; and sister, Beverly
Kruse.
A graveside service for Jerry will take place at 11
a.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Zion Cemetery in
Lincoln.
Cremation rites have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
